What an exciting time to be a rodeo fan! In this edition, we collectively connect our readers to the latest happenings in and around the rodeo circuits as rodeo teams and athletes make their final push for a World Championship title.

As this summer kicked off, the PBR launched its all-new PBR Team Series competition. The organization conducted its first draft in late May, forming eight teams. Traditionally, bull riding is an individual sport, but now, these athletes have created a brotherhood. In this issue, we check in with the teams and cover the latest happenings.

The fall season tends to be a favorite among most Americans. For cowboys, it’s deer hunting season. To some, it’s a yearly family tradition. To others, it means putting food on the table. Our friends at Sportsman’s Choice Record Rack have helped cowboys and hunters tag the biggest racks across the country for years. We sit down and interview PRCA steer wrestlers Dakota Eldridge and Clayton Hass, along with NASCAR Truck Series driver Spencer Boyd, as they share some of their favorite hunting adventures.

We also take a look at what’s happening in the current PRCA Season, which is in full swing. Our favorite cowboys and cowgirls are pulling out the big guns this year to earn the right to enter the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Dec. 1-10 for the 2022 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. With a record-setting payout of more than $10.9 million, it’s no wonder the competition is as fierce as ever. The top 15 rodeo athletes will pull out all the stops to show they have what it takes to earn a World Champion title.

It’s been an eventful year for the women of rodeo as they continued to astonish audiences across the country. Each time they ride out into the arena, these ladies break down barriers to reimagine what’s possible in barrels and breakaway. With ever-growing support, there’s never been a better time to saddle up and take the reins as a female rodeo athlete. In this issue, we celebrate their accomplishments with a peek at what’s happening in women’s rodeo.
