FORT WORTH, Texas – At the fifth iteration of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Stockyard Showcase, no rider was more dominant than Guilherme Valleiras (Pirassununga, Brazil), delivering a perfect 2-for-2 finish to win the event inside the historic Cowtown Coliseum.

Valleiras first put points on the board in Round 1, tying for second when he covered Red Kingdom (Universal Pro Rodeo) for 87.5 points.

The surging Brazilian then catapulted to the top of the event leaderboard when he conquered Party Train (Stockyards Pro Rodeo) for 83.5 points in the championship round.

For his efforts in Fort Worth, Valleiras collected 55.5 Velocity Global points.

Veteran rider Joao Ricardo Vieira (Itatinga, Brazil) clinched a second-place finish as the only other rider to be perfect at the Thursday night event.

Vieira first rode Probable Cause (Universal Pro Rodeo) for 79.5 points in Round 1 before dominating Secret Weapon (444 Bucking Bulls/Stockyards/Winston/Durham/Davis/Melton) for a championship round-best 86.5 points.

The silver showing earned him 44 Velocity Global points.

Davi Henrique da Lima (Candido Mota, Brazil) was third, netting 26 Velocity Global points.

Lima was unrivaled in Round 1, topping UR -17 (Scott Burruss) for an event-best 89.5 points. The 34-year-old, however, had his hopes of victory come to a screeching halt in the final round when he was upended by Soy El Fuego (Winston/Melton/Stockyards Pro Rodeo) in a quick 2.57 seconds.

Vitor Losnake (Bauru, Brazil) parlayed an 87.5-point ride aboard Jammer (Dakota Rodeo/Troy Bradshaw) in Round 1 into a fourth-place finish. Losnake left Cowtown Coliseum having earned 19.5 Velocity Global points.

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Garrett Jones (Devers, Texas).

The home state hopeful collected 16 Velocity Global points for his 84.5-point ride atop UR 8132 (Scott Burruss) in the opening round of competition.
